Our affiliate relationship
Parma Factory Tours is an independent affiliate publisher participating in the Viator Partner Program. When a tour card, guide link, or "Check availability" button sends you to viator.com and you complete a booking there, we may earn a commission on that booking. This is standard travel-affiliate practice and is how many independent guides fund the research and upkeep behind them.
What this does not change
The commission comes from Viator, not from you — you pay the same listed price whether you arrive at Viator through our link or by searching directly. We do not mark up prices, and we do not add a booking fee of our own. Earning a commission does not let an operator buy a place in our shortlist; our selection method is explained separately on the editorial policy page and is based on stated pickup, duration, transport, and traveler feedback, not on advertising spend.
How affiliate links are marked
Every outbound tour link on this site opens the official Viator listing directly — we never disguise the destination or route clicks through an intermediate redirect designed to hide that it's an affiliate link. Links carry the rel="sponsored" attribute, the technical signal search engines use to identify paid or affiliate links, and guide pages include a short disclosure line next to the first call to action on the page, in addition to this dedicated page.
Who takes your booking and payment
Booking, payment, confirmation, and cancellation are all handled directly by Viator and the tour operator — never by Parma Factory Tours. We do not see or store your payment details, and we cannot change, cancel, or refund a booking on your behalf; those requests go through your Viator confirmation email or account.
